![]() Does anyone have some other ideas on how I might fix this? If I could find "MFREADWRITE.DLL" then perhaps I could solve this. (We're talking 4-6 hours at best, the first install took 12) I do however have a complete backup of GTA, one on my laptop which has never been run, and another on my drive which I kept in case I couldn't figure out how to undo a mod installation. The obvious solution appears to be to reinstall, but with a game as large as GTA, that could take a long time for me. I ran the file validation with Steam (I have the Steam version) and all files successfully validated. ![]() I believe that has something to do with the problem. This morning, I "upgraded" to Windows 10. However, I was on Windows 8.1 at that time. I removed all of my mods, and successfully was playing without any problems, online and singleplayer. The file that is missing: MFREADWRITE.DLL If you have any questions about the rules, feel free to message the moderators. This does not apply if you are the developer of a mod still in development.
